Starting this semester, Mountain SOL is offering a new afterschool program where students can embrace their creative freedom in the woods! Wildcraft Wednesdays is an open ages class that gives students a taste of what the Jaguares Provider path is all about. Students can learn to cook on a fire, make trail markers from local materials, hunt for fossils, maintain a patch of wild berries, and more!
Wildcraft Wednesdays are open to a wide age range, and students will be able to participate equally whether they are in 4th grade or high school. Our teacher Jason taught Winter Scouts this year with a similar age range, and we expect similar students will enjoy Wildcraft Wednesdays!
