Jason Ruehl is a WVU graduate from History and Cultural Resource Management. A lifelong outdoorsman, his time at WVU got him interested in historic frontier skills, leading to an ongoing interest in leatherwork. His father taught him a myriad of outdoor proficiencies including hunting, fishing, trapping, emergency first aid, and wilderness survival. He has been a lifeguard, swim-instructor, volunteer martial arts instructor, freelance artist, writer. He is an ordained minister and has a black-belt in Taekwondo.
